[DivX Snow - Direct DivX Movies and Software's! ]
What is DivX?
DivX is the world's most popular video compression technology (Video compression codec), DivX is a high performance video plug-in which lets you create and watch high-quality movies and video using your Windows Media Player or a number of other media players available on the internet. We have some free media players as well as the divx codec available for free download on our Software Page.

What are the minimum Hardware Requirements for playing DivX Movies?
DivX movies can these days be played back on any modern machine, we recommend a minimum Pentium 350MHz running Windows 9X/NT/2000/XP, but slow machines such as this are likely to encounter problems with skipping and delays in the video stream. For AMD K6/K6-2 computers we recommend that the minimum is higher and at least an AMD K6-2 400MHz for proper playback.
Lately however there have been additional codecs used for encoding DivX Movies, such as SMR, XVid, etc... When additional codecs and compression technologies are used to compress and enhance the visual quality of DivX Movies, faster machines are required in order to keep up with decompression of such video streams.

DivX movies won't play and I don't know why.
This can happen for many reasons, the most common reason that downloaded movies don't work is because the download is incomplete. One way of solving this is to use a better media player such as the VLC Player we have available on our Software Page, this media player will allow you to play unfinished and even damaged DivX movies.

I hear Audio but do not see any Video when trying to watch a movie.
This problem occurs when you try to watch a movie and the video player you are using is unable to find the needed video codec.
One way of fixing this is to have all current video codecs installed on your system, a codec pack containing all necessary codecs can be downloaded for free from our Software Page, if you still experience problems, please don't hesitate to contact us for prompt free support!

Picture and sound is having problems with skipping
The reason for this is most likely that your computer isn't fast enough to play DivX movies. You can try to use an older version of the DivX codec as this will put less strain on your system. If that doesn't work, try BSPlayer as it uses considerably less CPU and memory than Windows Media Player.
